I went into the process not knowing anything about guardianship or how to resolve a family issue regarding a parents Will or Power of Attorney and what to do when a parent has lost their ability to make quality decisions for themselves. I did not know how to defend myself, or my parent. But Mr Ramini...ak took the time to explain the laws and environment for me and take me through the process that brought both my parent and myself to a place where my parents physical well being and assets are protected and as per their wishes. Mr Raminiak is remarkable when interacting with other attorneys as well as with the court. I would give my highest recomendation to anyone seeking assistance in a guardianship or family matter needing resolution.

My parent was suffering from accelerating mental decline but would not acknowledge it. Steve guided us through this difficult period, and we were ultimately able to manage our parents' finances. (We found them to be in disarray, including an ongoing, costly scam. It would have been much worse without... our intervention.) A few months later, my parent died. As difficult as that was, we truly would not be in such a good position with regards to the estate without Steve's advice, guidance, and perseverance. The estate process is still challenging, but it would be so much worse if we had not been given a head start.

The process of establishing guardianship, transitioning to memory care, settling the estate property and finan...ces, and appealing to Medicaid took a couple of years. Steve Raminiak is a knowledgeable professional that was able to guide me and my family during a difficult time when I had to take over POA for a family member related to healthcare and financial needs.
