Biography
Ray Massucci has practiced exclusively in the area of family law since 1978 and is experienced in all areas of family law litigation from pre-trial to appeals. Ray brings a wealth of experience to his clients when identifying the marital estate, valuing it, negotiating, and, when necessary, litigating for an equitable division. His cases involve complicated business interests, real estate, and investments. Ray carefully guides his clients to resolve all of the tough decisions required during the divorce process.
Ray has been licensed to practice law since 1970. He is Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, obtaining that designation in 1984. He is also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, Lake County Bar Association, and Northwest Suburban Bar Association. He has lectured at Illinois Continuing Legal Education seminars held in conjunction with the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and at Lake County Bar Association Family Law seminars. He has lectured on various topics including: maintenance, dissipation, and property valuations. He is a Certified Mediator and has represented children as a Child’s Representative and Guardian Ad Litem.
He has an AV Preeminent highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards since 1986. He has been recognized by Illinois Super Lawyers for the years 2008 through the present. Ray has been a member of the Leading Lawyers Network from 2003 through the present.
