Biography
Jeff Oistad has been helping injured people in Central Minnesota since 1985. Jeff has managed the St. Cloud Meshbesher & Spence location since it opened in 1991, and is a longtime member of the Board of Directors at Meshbesher & Spence.
Jeff passionately pursues damages for injured people. He’s always willing to travel throughout the region to meet with the victims of negligent acts. His practice is concentrated on representing victims of all types of accidents, including car and truck collisions. Jeff has also helped people injured in construction, farm and snowmobile accidents, dog attacks, defective products and firearms accidents, as well as clients who have suffered the loss of a family member.
As an experienced trial lawyer, Jeff has tried injury and wrongful death cases in courtrooms throughout Minnesota. He has been certified as a Civil Trial Specialist by the Minnesota Bar Association since 2002, and is a longtime member of the Minnesota Association for Justice.
On a personal note, Jeff is a native Minnesotan. He was raised in Apple Valley, and graduated from St. Olaf College and the University of Minnesota Law School. He and his wife, Lorrie, are longtime residents of Sartell, where they raised their three children. He is an elder at Calvary Community Church in St. Cloud, and is also on the Missions Board. Jeff enjoys spending his free time with his family, including his six grandchildren, and at ballgames watching his daughter and son coach their teams.
