Biography
Jeremy Kaschinske is quickly becoming one of Minnesota’s most well-known criminal defense attorneys. Not only has he argued numerous issues to several district and appellate courts resulting in dismissals across the state, he has also successfully advocated for his clients to avoid charges in the first place.
Jeremy has been consistently selected as a Rising Star in Criminal Defense by SuperLawyers. No more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in the state are named Rising Stars. Moreover, the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys has chosen Jeremy as a Top 10 Under 40 award winner for the State of Minnesota.
Jeremy has spent his entire career defending those accused of various crimes, from federal conspiracy and embezzlement charges to first-time DWI offenders, and he takes a confident and tactical approach to each case. Jeremy is known for going above and beyond to meet his clients’ needs, as he truly understands that an arrest, criminal charge or conviction can affect a person’s life tremendously.
In addition to being a contributing author to Minnesota’s DWI Deskbook, a comprehensive book that is used by judges, prosecutors and defense attorneys throughout the state, Jeremy also appears as a guest author regarding Criminal/DWI issues in several other publications.
Jeremy is one of only a handful of defense attorneys certified to operate the DataMaster DMT, Minnesota’s DWI breath testing device. To obtain this certification, he had the privilege of traveling to Ohio to the manufacturer’s headquarters to learn firsthand the inner workings of the machine and evaluate the technicalities of the device.
Jeremy is also serves as a mock trial judge and is active in his community.
