David John Risk

I was represented by Mr. Risk in a matter that thankfully didn't end up in court. I was very impressed by Mr. Risk's knowledge and an immediate game plan for defending my rights and innocence. I was innocent of the allegations against me and I have no doubt Mr. Risk's aggressive defense and game pl...an even in the investigative stage assisted in my being exonerated. I found myself in a situation where I needed the best of the best attorney. Dave was understanding, knew every aspect of the law. Dave represented me on a drug case. He is knowledgeable on the technical aspects of the law. Constitutional rights issues and so forth. My case did not offer much wiggle-room for him to work with as an attorney, but I was impresses at how many different avenues he explored in trying to get the case d...ismissed. As the case panned out, I chose to take a plea deal in my best interest. (the alternative was much less appealing) The plea deal wasn't as good as I have seen in other cases, BUT I need to say I don't know if this was because of shortcomings on Dave's part in negotiating - or simply a tough prosecutor who wouldn't back down. Dave is a wonderfully friendly guy who doesn't shy away from constant communication and questions from his client. I bugged him with calls and questions all the time and he was always happy to answer. He is the type of attorney I might even invite to my own back yard barbecue and enjoy his company.
