Do not hire if serious criminal charge

I hired Jay because I was scared and didn't know who to trust. My friend had him as a DUI so I reached out to him. First mistake: I didn't ask how my friends experience with him was. I didn't research him (which I hope is what you are doing now and that it is not too late). I did not question him abo...ut what type of cases he had handled and the outcome. I put my trust in him without doing any of the necessary research and I paid for it. My Advice: If it is a serious charge and one that will likely require a trial, DO NOT HIRE HIM. He does not do the work necessary to establish the facts of the case or properly provide you a defense. He was prepared to do little more than stand there. This leaves the record seriously under developed which will screw you over for review down the road. He does just enough or says just the right thing that the courts will assume that he provided competent representation. BUT HE DID NOT! Do more research, do not assume that he will take care of everything, if you do, your life will be ruined. Do not make my mistakes.

I Didn't Know What To Do

I know that I made good choice hiring Jay to help with my case. Not only did other lawyers wanted 2 to 3 times the amount he was charging for the same work (making professional help unaffordable to me.,) he made the entire process very easy for me. He completed all the difficult work involved in the... process, and I just arrived for the court date when he told me to.

Jay really cares about who he represents and is on your side. He did many phone calls and submitted information on time. I liked his aggressive nature and he doesn't give up. He spent more time on my case than expected. I liked his former prosecutor background. He worked hard on my small case and car...es about the (little people). He is not in this for greed like most lawyers and cares about principles, the laws, fairness etc. He relates well to other district attorney's. I would hire him again.

Affrodable

I was in an unfortunate situation where I had two driving after suspension violations in a six month span. Attorney Rolloff was able get the first one dismissed with no fines and got the second reduced to a non-moving violation I would recommend Mr. Rolloff to anyone!

Unreliable and not right

Mr. Rolloff in 2016 for my husbands case. He told me since the beginning it was a fairly easy case since there was almost no evidence against my husband. Since gave him an initial payment we didn’t hear from him for months and did not return calls. He rescheduled court dates over 6 times. Both prosec...utor and judge were upset with all of his rescheduling. When I was able to reach him months later he got upset – for no reason! He never fought my husband's case in fact he got sentenced to 3 months which a court appointed lawyer could have got him that sentence. He was very unprofessional, not just in his non-responsiveness and lack of actually doing the "work", but he just seemed “off”. I would never recommend him to anyone.
