Michael Harris Fink

I worked with Michael Fink for over five years on a very difficult and stressful custody case. Anyone who’s been through something like this knows it’s not just legal work it’s emotionally exhausting, slow, and at times overwhelming. Atty Fink was steady through all of it. He didn’t sugarcoat thin...gs or make promises just to make me feel better, but he also never lost sight of what mattered most: my child. When things dragged on or got especially hard, he stayed focused and prepared and kept pushing the case forward the right way. After years of work, the case ended with me being awarded full custody. That outcome didn’t come easily, and it wouldn’t have happened without Michael’s persistence, experience, and willingness to see the case through no matter how long it took. I’m genuinely grateful for his work and would strongly recommend him to anyone dealing with a serious custody or family law situation especially if you need someone who will stay in it with you for the long haul.

I recently took an Assets and Debts class for Paralegals through the Institute for Paralegal Education (IPE). Mr. Fink taught two (2) topics within the class in regard to QDROs and Retirement Plans and Drafting Property Division Spreadsheets and Marital Settlement Agreements. I found the informati...on Mr. Fink presented on retirement accounts and defined contribution plans to be very informative and extremely helpful. I am a Paralegal who has worked in family law for over 10.5 years. In addition to drafting pleadings, I also draft Pre-Hearing Statements, Marital Settlement Agreements, responses to discovery requests and assist parties with the QDRO process. A few days after our class concluded I reached out to Mr. Fink as I was eager to learn more about the organizational spreadsheets he shared during our class. I was pleased to receive a comprehensive response within a couple of hours of my email. I look forward to applying my knowledge on the division of marital assets/debts from the information I received during Mr. Fink's class.
