Karim G El-Ghazzawy

Karim recently helped through the worst time of my life - a divorce after 24 years of marriage. I am so lucky to have found him. From the first time we talked, he was kind, caring and professional. I preface this by saying I am an attorney myself, so have little tolerance for inefficiency, lack of knowledge and suspect billing practices. Karim, and his staff, Christy, Tracy and a great consulting accountant led me thru a complicated, painful and difficult divorce. Simply everything they did was... above and beyond what I had anticipated. Karim was smooth, respectful and professional with opposing counsel, and at our number of arbitrations w/ the arbitrator, who also clearly respected him. He was able to put together a settlement that made me very, very happy after negotiating several perilous legal issues, which were all resolved in our favor. A friend who had worked with Karim described him to me as the Buddha with a Bite, and that couldn't be more accurate. He's wise, patient, listening, counseling, caring and experienced. He knew what to give, and when to push. And when it was the time to push, did he! Not in a shark-ish way, but in... a strategic manner that represented me well and got things done. Beyond his legal acumen, I appreciated his ethics, especially compared to the opposing attorney who simply wanted to draw things out to make it financially painful. Karim always started each conversation asking how I and my children were doing, and ended each one encouraging me to take the high road, treat my wife with courtesy and pay attention to my children's feelings throughout the process. Plus, he sincerely sought to find the best / fastest path to resolution because he wanted to preserve the wealth of my family, not build his. And at the end, he achieved a very good divorce settlement for me. Karim and his firm are just great. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I hired Karim to handle a very complicated divorce case after I had worked with two different attorneys prior to him and they failed me. Karim is extremely intelligent, very proactive and very clam. Karim picked up my case after several long delays in the process forced my first attorney to drop out. Despite a pretty short timeframe before the case went to trial, Karim was able to master the facts and put together a plan for trial. At trial, Karim was able to pull out the facts and demonstrate t...o the court that my former spouse's wild false allegations were clearly not credible. He also managed to impeach some faulty and irresponsible expert reports, which fell apart completely under cross-examination. The court decided the case based on only the credible evidence, and I prevailed on literally every issue in the case, from large to small. At all times, I felt like Karim was putting the best interests of my children first. Karim is a person of unimpeachable integrity, and that comes across in court. Karim was also very communicative - I felt at all times that I was up to speed on where we were and what we needed to accomplish.
