AVOID AVOID AVOID

It is imperative to avoid seeking the services of this attorney, who has demonstrated a profound lack of professionalism, responsiveness, and general negligence. This attorney's persistent failure to communicate effectively and fulfill basic legal responsibilities has severely jeopardized the integri...ty of cases, inflicting significant stress and potential damage. Such conduct is wholly unacceptable in the legal profession. Clients are strongly urged to seek alternative legal representation to ensure their legal matters are managed with the utmost competence and care.

Unresponsive

Deeply disappointed. My response is strictly based on my experience which does not predict how your case will be handled but could be a deciding factor for you. Unresponsive. I have called and left messages and emails and voicemails weekly for a months, it’s been almost a year haven’t heard back fro...m my representation since October of 2021 but , I requested representation back in March 2021. My last message/conversation I received , I was advised paperwork would be filled in order to proceed further. The administrative assistant are always pleasant but, no response is ever return. My calls go straight to voicemail now no one picks, up. At, this point I’m not sure about my case and there’s no one who seems to have interest in seeing that, I can have this proceed further as I was promised in March 2021. Having promises of documents being filled would help my family but tremendously but after a year no response I’m not sure if my claim matters or even if anything ever happened to begin with. I’ll send an update so that you can make an informed decision especially if you have a family who depends on your support.

Great advocate for Unemployment appeal

I was unexpectedly terminated from a job after just two months’ of employment. More surprising still was that my unemployment benefits were denied for reasons I couldn’t begin to fathom. I decided to hire an attorney to help with the appeal. I spoke to several and decided on Joe LeBlanc. I’m glad ...I did. Throughout the process, Joe kept me in the loop on documents submitted/requested and what I could expect from the process. As we built our defense, I sensed Joe was giving me the “true” story of what I could ultimately expect (a victory) as opposed to what a lawyer is expected to tell his client. What’s more, he was extremely responsive throughout, actually answering his phone and responding quickly to texts and emails. Joe conducted a prep session with me an hour before the appeal and provided great coaching and feedback. During the appeal, he adapted his strategy to the judge’s line of questioning and we ended up presenting a convincing case. The decision came down in less than 24 hours, in our favor. Joe said it was one of the quickest decisions he’d seen in years. All that remains now is a direct deposit of my unemployment back pay. I can’t speak highly enough about Joe. He charged a flat rate, no surprises, and provided professional, friendly and legally-sound assistance during one of the most challenging experiences of my professional life. With his help I was able to close the book on this ugly chapter and move forward.

You Deserve a Better Lawyer!

I probably wouldn't have appealed my unemployment case, but Joe told me there was a good chance I could win. He stated he needed to hurry because the court date was a week away (my fault - I take responsibility) but his outlook was still good and that he needed a flat fee of $1500 then and there. H...e put in 2 hours of work for this case in total (over 4 months). Each time we spoke after the case he criticized my answers which he "prepped" me on a week before in a hurry and didn't explain well. Joe appears to be too busy with other clients and was not friendly or empowering. I should have looked into comparing other lawyers instead of getting excited by his optimistic outlook on my case. The judge did not even think about considering what he tried to get the judge to focus on (COVID-19 justifying my unemployment). I felt like an experimental case for him to see if COVID-19 could make it happen. He did not take responsibility that he could have done a better job and got defensive when I mentioned things on his end that could have improved. He is a poor listener and rushes you along. He needed reminders that my case was onto the next step. I paid $1500 for a lawyer who ended up criticizing me more than helping. It adds a bit of insult to injury when he gets the money regardless of how little he invests. You could likely do better by looking things up on the internet or Youtube than using Joe. He refused to refund anything 1 day after telling me he has refunded money before and would consider refunding $750 for me. I am an educated RN who will graduate as a nurse practitioner in Spring 2021. I would never treat any of my patients as poorly as Joe. You deserve someone better than Joe!!!
