Employment

Not a good experience. Communication was terrible, honestly not sure who she was working for. I felt she did as minimal as possible, there was no drive in her to surface the truth, which was very frustrating.

Highest Regard

Baillon Thome Jozwiak & Wanta LLP is nothing less than a stellar law firm to have on your side. Joni Thome was recommended to me by a colleague after a horrible experience with another established law firm, to say the difference between the two was like night and day would be an understatement. In a...ddition to a fairly quick and favorable outcome, invaluable to me was that from the initial consultation, Joni Thome made me feel heard, understood, emotionally comforted and protected. Throughout the entire process I never felt less than a priority, like my crisis was her crisis. I recommend on the highest level.

You'll regret it- Would not recommend!

I can't speak for the rest of the team, as I was unfortunately represented by Frances Baillon & Joni Thome. This was the worst experience with legal representation I've ever seen, or heard of. There was a complete lack of professionalism, compassion, and communication. Joni Thome will not accept cons...tructive criticism, and is full of excuses. She acts as a bully to her clients when disagreements take place, or frustration is expressed with their slow as molasses response. Passive aggressive behavior seems to be the only approach in her toolbox, and if you question anything, she will tell you that you can pay their fees, and go elsewhere. Frances Baillon was not very vocal, or involved. Joni Thome seems to run the show, and Frances Baillon serves as her lapdog. Do your research, and look elsewhere. There are legal professionals out there that want to help, and do their best to ensure that justice is served. I will chalk this up as a learning experience.

Will fight for the "little guy/gal"

Joni was as Jim Croce would say "meaner than a junk-yard dog" fighting for me/case; yet, at the same time she has a "golden retriever" down-to-earth style with her clients! I'm grateful for her compassion and determination for the truth/law. Joni understands it is not easy for an employee t...o stand up for themselves after being beaten down and threaten by horrific/illegal treatment by a big employer! Joni is encouraging, inspiring and has a fun sense of humor which really helped me especially during the difficult times of my case. For example, she even convinced me to face the boss-from hell at his deposition which I'm so glad I did --as I got to see first hand what makes Joni a SUPER Lawyer! (It also was frosting on the cake to see the former boss from hell squirm under her intense questioning!) She has a fabulous staff too--from the office and legal assistants to the other partners/attorneys who were ready and able to fill in when Joni was busy-- Joni is an exceptional, compassionate and talented attorney!
