Biography
A dedicated lawyer, Andrew Irlbeck uses analytical, research, and oral-advocacy skills to win his client’s cases. Andrew has extensive experience litigating federal constitutional tort cases under 42 U.S.C. § 1983, and defending criminal charges in state and federal courts.
During law school, Andrew worked as an intern for the the Honorable Judge Donovan W. Frank, a judge in U.S. Federal District Court. He also worked as a law clerk for Applebaum Law Firm and Earl Gray Defense in St. Paul, MN. He began his career by completing research and legal writing for these distinguished litigators, working to create strategies that give under-dog clients a fighting chance in tough cases. Andrew worked with skill and competency as a law clerk, and he now works as a lawyer alongside his mentors.
Since 2011, Andrew has owned and operated his own practice, Andrew M. Irlbeck Law Office in St. Paul, MN. He has first and second chair trial experience in civil and criminal cases, as well as extensive motion practice, and substantial appellate work. He manages and executes litigation of civil rights and criminal defense cases from initial interview through trial, and appeal if necessary.
Andrew is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and Wisconsin, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the District of Minnesota and for the Western District of Wisconsin, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
