I hired Martin Azarian last year. I was charged with shoplifting and needed to keep this off my record. Martin Azarian went to court for me and was able to convince the prosecutor to keep this off my record. Once the case was dismissed, I hired Martin Azarian again to prepare an expungement motion. ...I met with Martin at his office and we discussed the law and my rights. He answered all my questions and by the end of the month had prepared the motion. We went to court and I was so pleased with Martin. Looking for an experienced attorney for expungments, which this attorney was supposed to be the best! Attorney called me daily for the total payment. I did not hear from the attorney at all for a month and I called to find out what the issue was. He was visiting family in NY, but would get back to... me. After such another month passed by, he stated "he just received papers from my trial. Non stop discussions to eat up the money came next, hours of the same discussions, nothing changing or developing. I decided I had wasted thousands of dollars, after receiving full payment, he stated that the State of MN was not granting expungments, which I found out later from other attorneys was not true. He padded his expenses and did not want to give me any money back., I received little to nothing from this attorney. I don't feel he should be able to practice. I am pursuing this further.
