Last spring I went through the most difficult, shameful point of my life. My drinking was out of control and I started becoming violent with my wife in front of our young son. He mentioned this at his school, which led to Child Protective Services opening a case on our family. The CPS investigator to...ld my wife if she didn’t take out an Order for Protection against me that they would put our son in protective custody.
