Isabel Linner McClure

Isabel went to law school to work closely with others by helping them navigate through hard times in their lives.

After graduating college with honors, she served in AmeriCorps at the Legal Rights Center in South Minneapolis supporting restorative justice programming for youth in many school districts across the state.

Isabel then attended the University of Minnesota Law School where she graduated cum laude. During law school, Isabel participated in the McGee Civil Rights Moot Court Competition where she was named Best Oral Advocate in the State Tournament and her team won Best Brief in the National Moot Court Regional Tournament.

In addition to her appellate advocacy experience, Isabel represented clients at the district court level as a student certified family law attorney for two years. Isabel spent both of her law school summers in New York City, including one summer as a certified student prosecutor at the Bronx District Attorney’s Office.

After Law School, Isabel was fortunate enough to clerk with the Minnesota Supreme Court. While at the Minnesota Supreme Court, Isabel worked closely with Justice Chutich to analyze cases before the court and support the court in generating opinions.

Outside of work, Isabel sits on the Hennepin County Bar Foundation Board of Directors and is a member of the Minnesota Women Lawyers. She also loves spending time at her cabin with her family, cooking, and enjoying the outdoors in every Minnesota season. Isabel’s greatest accomplishment is taking (and passing!) the bar exam four days before she was due with her daughter.
