Kevin Devore may have been a good attorney at some point but my experience with him was terrible and I could not in good faith recommend him. I contracted with Devore to handle a matter which ultimately went to trial. 1) He was terrible in the courtroom. His demeanor was not comfortable and h...is oratory skills poor. 2) He was simply unprepared. He did not pre prepare questions and did not have the skill to effectively cross-examine off-the-cuff. He got dates wrong, did not probe well and appeared awkward and clumsy. 3) Prior to the trial he did not follow up on details and investigate matters he should have. I'd be glad to provide greater detail, but it would jeopardize my anonymity. He may wear a nice suit, have a fancy office at the top of a big building, and work with a firm with other lawyers, but this guy is not living up to the MN State's bar level of "Vigorous Defense". Don't waste your money and end up losing a case when a good lawyer might get you a "win". This guy was lazy and outclassed by the prosecutor. Go elsewhere.
