David A. Bolles

David is the most caring person I have ever met. He actually cares about his clients, it's more then just a paycheck to him. He took his time to keep me updated on this as well as looking into them and made sure to get all evidence, although it took time and was complicated but ended up getting my ca...se dismissed. He not only talked me through things to help my overwhelmed mind but he gave me advice that I think I definitely needed. I definitely recommend David Bolles to anyone who wants a Public Defender/Lawyer that truly cares about their client and not only the pay. I am very appreciative of him and I couldn't be more thankful! Thank you David!

Mr. Bolles represented me in a felony case and did a great job! I thought Mr. Bolles handled the case very professionally as well as being very personable. Always would return a phone call promptly and really got to bottm of all details and possibilities to resolve the case. I am an attorney licensed in Illinois, but had a family legal matter in Wisconsin. I quickly realized I needed assistance and opted to hire local counsel. I asked several law colleagues for suggestions and after several glowing referrals I contacted David. I am truly glad that I did. He did an exempl...ary job from the initial consult to the final resolution in the courtroom. I have worked for other attorneys myself and am well aware at what a nuisance we can be, so I am thankful for his calm grace and kindness in enduring my questions and suggestions. Unfortunately the defendant did not see reason and this matter did require a court appearance. While I was quite happy with his handling of the correspondence, complaint drafting, and other day-to-day work, his skill in the courtroom was particularly impressive and greatly appreciated. David had a plan, he had his materials and information in order and ready to go, and he did a masterful job of navigating the facts, the stories of the witnesses and exhibits to extract the truth. The court shared my high opinion of his handling of the proceedings, we were completely successful far exceeding my hoped-for outcome. The defendant accepted liability, apologized, declined to appeal, and delivered a certified check to my hotel within the hour. I can't imagine a more effective outcome. His fees were fair and appropriate, his billing was itemized clearly, and if anything he skewed his rates and time generously in my favor. I have worked with many professionals in many fields, you don't always leave the experience feeling like you got your moneys worth or that the expert/professional you hired was a worthwhile expense. Not the case here, this was money well spent. I could have handled the case myself pro hac vice but I would have done it without his depth of knowledge of the law, the procedure in the area, and, frankly, his talent in the courtroom.
