I've known Attorney Connolly for many years. When my husband asked for a divorce, she was the attorney I turned to. She not only made sure she was the proper attorney for the job, but she also encouraged me to, without pressure, make sure I felt the same way before hiring her. During the proceedin...gs, Gwen paid very close attention to detail. She also made sure I was understanding everything as well. During such an emotional time, she always helped provide an atmosphere where I felt safe, well represented, and better able to make sound decisions. I enjoyed working with her. She is very knowledgeable, offered great advice and made me feel as though she was always in my corner. Gwen also has many good ties to this community -- I could tell everyone we worked with during the divorce respected her as well.

I would not recomment this attorney if you have a family law matter such as divorce, custody, placment and child support especially if you are a woman. I hired Gwen to represent me concerning family law matters and I am sorry I did. I did not find her to be a strong advocate nor that she advised me p...roperly concerning my case. I feel I paid her a lot of money and she did very little for me. She would actually defend my children's father in our conversations regarding him and my case and he had his own attorney. I found that she talked in "circles" and down to me as her client instead of advocating for me and advising me regarding my legal issues. I also found her billing to be dishonest and questionable at times. It seems she has received high ratings as an attorney in regards to consumer law, but i absolutely would not recommend hiring her as a family law attorney. I have met with and hired other family law attorneys since her and gotten much better legal advice, insight and respect than i ever got from Gwen. Do not hire her as your attorney if you are a mother and need representation and counsel in a family law matter. I do not think she is a good advocate for women.
