Jody L. Usow

Jody is one of the most professional and experienced lawyers I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She has represented me on more than one occasion, and both times not only was she able to have my misdemeanor and felony charges reduced, but also she was able to convince the judge to have my record... expunged. She is a very caring and professional attorney, and I would gladly recommend her to anyone in need of legal work/representation.

I first hired Jody Usow back in 2010 for Family Court help. My child's mother was very difficult to work with and did everything she could to obstruct our progress even falsely accusing myself of child abuse and battery along the way. Jody answered all the trouble and allegations with the utmost pr...ofessionalism and tact. In the end, Jody cleared me of the false allegations and secured the 50/50 placement and custody that I was after. Jody urged me to go for full placement and custody in that case, but I hadn't been ready at the time. Skip ahead to 2015 and my son's mother is struggling with parenting and to get our 8 year old to school. We now have truancy court to deal with as a result. My son's mother continues to fail in front of Juvenile court and I consult with Jody Usow and hire her for the rest of the Juvenile court situation and also to secure full custody and placement with an amended family court order. Jody Usow worked hard to get the juvenile case closed and to secure 100% placement and custody of my son with me. Also, child support was ordered to be paid to my son and me. If I need legal representation in the future, I will not hesitate to hire Jody Usow.

Jodi helped me in a criminal case as well as a divorce proceeding. In my opinion she went well above what was required She was always supportive and readily available to answer any questions that I may of had. I have moved to Connecticut, and hope, ( if I need representation again), to find a lawy...er half as good as Jody.
