Matthew S. Pinix

Matt was hired by our nonprofit to represent us in an appeals case after we lost a somewhat complicated case in a lower court. Understanding that less than 10% of appeals cases are won on appeal, we weren't very optimistic. But Matt is a genius in understanding the law in general, even though he was...n't familiar with nonprofit law. He is a quick study and was able to convince the appeals court that the lower court ruled erroneously. Because of Matt's support our nonprofit won the legal right to a $1 million endowment that is now allowing us to continue to function. In addition, his work with the appeals court put an end to a dispute that was over a decade old. Lastly Matt has such an easy going demeanor. He was wonderful to work with and very patient in explaining the complicated workings of the appeals process. We will always be very grateful to Matt for Saving our nonprofit.

Were do I begin to even express what Matthew S. Pinix and his team has done for my family and I. During the most trying times of our lives we came to his office to hire him for an appeal. He was open and honest and took the time to address any of my concerns.

Scam artist do not hire. Scammed me out of 19k. Kept stringing me along and kept saying he was going to file his habeas corpus petition, only to act like he forgot. He said this months later, then did it again. When asked about the research he had charged 1000s of dollars to do on 4th and 8th amendme...nt issues, his postulated knowledge was completely inaccurate and shows his lack of legal capacity. His scam is to lead people on that are incarcerated on charging them fraudulent fees until the statute of limitation is about up, all while burning through a retainer. He then asks for more money, and uses this fear of statute of limitations to elapse to get more money. I asked him to send me his work he was charging me for; I did not receive anything until after I fired him. What I received was his research that only showed a single case that isn’t even relevant to my matters. I have letters from him attempting to deceive me. Also, I plan on filing a law suit against him very soon. -Travis Mcpeek
