This being uncharted territory for my me and my wife, Ellen made it easy for us to understand the process and she answered all... of our questions in a timely and straight-forward manner. Our children have been our number one priority and Ellen clearly explained our options and how we could work through everything. She stepped through the many forms with us and filed the necessary documents, making this difficult time more bearable. My wife and I were able to really focus on what was important to us - our children, our home, our belongings - instead of focusing on the negative and breaking down in the process of sorting it all out by ourselves. My wife and I felt it would be appropriate to give Ellen a gift as a way of extending our gratitude, only to find that she requests donations to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. If that doesn’t tell you the kind of person she is, I don’t know what would.
