will not fight for you

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Rypel Law Office. He took on a case as a public defender but didn’t even attempt to properly defend it. It felt like there was little to no effort put into the case at all. On top of that, the level of professionalism was unacceptable—yelling at a c...lient’s parents while clearly in the wrong is not how an attorney should conduct themselves. Everyone understands being busy, but if you take on a case, you need to put in the time and actually do your job. An innocent person ended up going to prison, and it truly felt like nothing was done to prevent that outcome. It raises serious concerns about the quality of representation and how cases are handled overall, especially when stepping in after a prior attorney struggled. I would strongly caution others before seeking help here. No one deserves to feel like their case wasn’t even given a fair effort.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
