Stephanie G. Rapkin

Licensed to practice law in 1982 I went on to get an LL.M. in taxation and estate planning.  I have written two tax and estate planning books for Lexis Nexis, one of the largest legal publishing houses in the world.  I also have written a number of law journal articles and specialty articles for electronic legal journals. I teach  both continuing legal education courses in estate planning and tax for practicing attorneys and university courses in probate law and business law.  I have been named one of the top estate planning attorneys for 4 years in a row by Milwaukee Magazine. I am regularly quoted in the Wall Street Journal, Smart Money and local media about estate planning matters.   A third generation Milwaukee attorney, I grew up in Shorewood and Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin and currently reside in Shorewood. 

My goal is to make sure you get the most thorough and appropriate estate plan for your situation.  I will do my utmost to translate the legalese and make sure that you understand your documents and how they work.   My clients also deserve the best possible personal care and to that end one of the myriad of things that I will happily do for a client is to make house calls if a client requests such.
