She will give you a "flat rate" quote for what it will cost for your case, including a trial. But then she did everything she could to avoid a trial and still kept all the money, including the amount that she had stated was for the trial. Don't think she knew the microphones were on in the courtroom ...but I could hear her whole conversation with the prosecutor from my zoom login. She wasn't "fighting" for me in any way, she was settling for what the prosecution wanted to do and doing her best to avoid trial, even though I kept stating that I was leaning towards going to trial. I wouldn't recommend her. She was very difficult to get ahold of in the beginning of the case, basically as soon as I had sent payment. I'm sure there is more compassionate representation out there, probably much more appropriately priced too, or priced off the work they actually do, not just a flat trial fee without even a trial.

I was looking at serving-time for second offense drug offense. Throughout the whole process Melissa showed her skills by getting one charge dropped and zero jail time on a felony charge.
