Don't waste your money

This guy was my lawyer a couple years ago when he worked for the Hope Law Firm (he might still work there. IDK). To be honest, I didn't even want him as my lawyer. I paid $1500 to retain another lawyer in the practice but somehow wound up with Steve. I desperately needed a lawyer at the time so I gav...e him a chance. He hardly EVER returned my phone calls or emails, he didn't really seem to know what he was doing & during court, he barely talked to me to get the facts for the case. He just went by the paperwork he had. Basically, I was just a paycheck to this guy. I know that's how it always is with lawyers & clients but some lawyers make an effort to make their clients feel important. This guy, not so much.

I’m sorry if you did not have a good experience with either me or the Hope Law Firm. However, I do not believe that the information in this review is accurate as this client/matter does not sound familiar. In addition, the timing of the review further calls into question its accuracy as the writer apparently waited a couple years before leaving this review. Nonetheless, in response to the writer’s concerns, I would again apologize if you were not happy with communications and/or response times. Unfortunately, immediate responses are often simply not possible. However, prompt attention to clients and their cases always remains a top priority of mine.

Steve did a great job explaining the process and what could or not take place so no surprises. He was comfortable to work with which mattered a lot to me.

Divorce attorney

Steve represented me in my divorce and custody case. He was very helpful by answering any questions I might have had and was able to get my 90 day waiting period waved. I would highly recommend Hope Law Firm to anyone needing help with a divorce.

Good lawyer

Steve did an excellent job representing me in my divorce and custody case. He did a good job advising me on all my legal options throughout each stage of my case. Steve is professional and I would recommend his services to someone looking for a divorce attorney.

Divorce

Steve did a great job representing me throughout my divorce case. He kept my case moving even though my ex-husband was dragging his feet. He was always very prompt when I had any questions or concerns. I would definitely recommend Steve to anyone going through a divorce.
