Rob Tully

Robert G. Tully was born on September 7, 1955 in Dubuque, Iowa. Rob is the managing director of the Law Offices of Rob Tully, P.C. in West Des Moines, Iowa.

Rob graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1977 with a B.A. and received his Juris Doctorate from Drake University Law School in 1981. Rob has been practicing law in the Des Moines area ever since. Rob is licensed to practice law in both Federal and State courts in Iowa, as well as the United States Supreme Court.

Rob began his career as a young lawyer with the legendary Iowa trial lawyer, Verne Lawyer, where he practiced until Verne’s death in 1993. Rob then became a partner and shareholder with the prestigious Galligan Law Firm in Des Moines. After many successful years at Galligan, Tully, Doyle & Reid, P.C., Rob had the opportunity to acquire the practice of noted trial attorney, David Wiggins who, in 2003, had been appointed to the Iowa Supreme Court.

Rob has extensive litigation and jury trial experience in the State of Iowa and around the country as well as partnered in a case before the United States Supreme Court.

Rob actively litigates cases involving catastrophic injuries, serious personal and financial damage, wrongful death, insurance bad faith and medical negligence. His legal preference has always been, and will always continue to be, the representation of victims and their families.

In addition to representing victims in a number of practice areas, including complex personal injury claims, Rob is a dedicated attorney serving individuals throughout Iowa. His personal philosophy incorporates a strong commitment to understanding the circumstances confronting his clients and a vigorous will to see that responsible parties are held accountable for the damages they have caused in an effort to achieve justice for his clients.
