George W. Hyde III

George has represented me on three separate prior criminal cases comprising in total: two felony marijuana trafficking charges, a misdemeanor domestic violence charge, and a misdemeanor trespassing charge. All three of these cases resulted in total dismissal. George is hands-down the finest attorn...ey to have on your side in the local Marquette criminal justice system. If I weren't already engaged with a grad program, I'd go to law school to be like this guy.

George represented me for divorce, custody & change of domicile. Very professional & worked hard fighting for me & my children. In court, George stood out far above the opposing counsel, by asking appropriately pointed questions & digging down to the real truth. When he tells you "I've got it" there'...s no doubt that he WINS!

I was arrested for a traffic misdemeanor and I called Mr. Hyde for legal defense. I have worked in the system for many years and was in the wrong in this situation. Because I worked in the system I was dragged through the papers and news and the whole case was over dramatized and the officers that ...arrested me gave the media information that shouldn't have been released. It was a poorly conducted investigation and the case was eventually dismissed in a motion hearing with Mr. Hyde's help. I was then recharged on the same case by a different prosecutor who added on a total false arrest charge. This particular prosecutor lied to the media saying she was appointed, but had actually pursued getting this assignment. She never offered any plea, just added a total false charge and forced me to go to trial. Two of the officers committed perjury during the trial which the jury saw because the whole incident was video taped, which they didn't review before testifying. Mr. Hyde did an excellent job on pointing out their lies and also to draw out the arresting officers comments. Mr. Hyde cross examined the arresting officer who said that he never saw the indicators documented in the report and he would not have arrested me from what he saw(he watched the video before testifying). I am not trying to say I wasn't wrong, because I was. I was persecuted and not even given a chance to plea to anything. Mr. Hyde stepped up, defended me and the jury found me not guilty. It was a life changing event for me personally and professionally. Mr. Hyde did an excellent job in representing a basic in the law, it has to be done right and the evidence has to be there or you shouldn't arrest.

I am well involved in our community, consequently I have had a chance to build friendships with many respected Lawyers within the area... My relationship with with George started as golfing friends and within those confines it became obvious that he was a very sharp, straight-forward and honest legal... counsel. The free advice comes easy, but when those moments in life call for a absolute legal representative, friendships are put on hold and a smart individual goes with the best. George was my automatic choice and it has proven to be the smart and right choice. Though my issues have been few. they have been issues of great concern. And I am very happy to say, that all, have been resolved to my complete satisfaction, quickly and without compromise. This is a man that knows his business and gets it done. In retrospect, I believe counsel of another choice could not have handled my affairs better. I rate George #1 as my friend and Lawyer...
