George W. Hyde III

He was hired by my brother for his case. He was paid his money and after that he couldn't have cared less about him. He never responded to calls, texts or messages. He also lied to my brother about his time. My brother may have been only one small case to him but it was his life he was fighting for a...nd George could not be bothered. If there were negative stars, there would not be enough!!

Absolutely unavailable at all times, refuses to return clients phone calls, emails, text messages, late to appearances and always appears to be ill prepared. Doesn't understand that he is an employee of the people that PAID his retainer and thinks that he can be disrespectful to his employer. Disresp...ectfully tells his clients to redirect anger in aggression that should be directed towards Mr Hyde elsewhere when he is not performing or doing a job he is being paid graciously for. George Hyde is nothing but a cheap rip off of "Better call Saul."

George Hyde is a crook, stay clear from this law firm! I called him about a custody issue and said he would do it for 3,000. Paid him 1,255 after our first phone call. An emergency came up with my son and need his help, but he would avoid my calls. ended up getting a good lawyer for the job that was ...able to get me full custody. I doubt that joke would have never been able to get anything close to that by his reviews on google. Now trying to get the money he stole from me, my attorney sent him a letter last month but no reply. Called his law firm earlier this week and the lady said they did get the letter. I'm done trying to be reasonable and will be calling the Bar Assocation on this pos Monday!

I hired George as a out of town client. My case was 1 felony charge and 1 misdemeanor charge. It took a year, but it finally came down to my last pre trial conference date. The only time this attorney ever called me to discuss my case was the evening before each court appearance while I was traveling... to Marquette County. The prosecutor sent a list of witnesses to me via U.S. mail. EVERY TIME I spoke with Mr. Hyde throughout the year leading up to my last pre trial hearing, we discussed the names on my defense witness list. 30 minutes before my hearing was to commence, Mr. Hyde informed me of his desire to take the original plea deal the prosecutor offered 12 months prior. This attorney NEVER called, talked to, or conversed in ANY WAY with ANYONE on my list of witnesses, which I made sure he had names and contact numbers of, as well as email addresses for. This attorney knew all along he was going to talk me into the plea deal. This is NOT what any other quality legal counsel would consider appropriate defense strategy, as confirmed by 3 other attorneys I've spoken with about my experience with Mr. Hyde and my case. It is because of this terrible experience I give a very low rating to this attorney. If the scale allowed a "0" rating, that's exactly what he would have received from me, but the scale only goes down to a "1". Trust me, choose a different attorney.
