I first hired him for child custody and the only reason why we didn't get any good results was because my son hadn't been with me for the 6 months he needed to be in order for the court to take on the case. I hired him again for my criminal charges and he managed to get me 2 amazing plea deals. My fe...lony was dropped and I only got a year of probation when I was expecting jail time. If your honest with him and determined to do what he asks of you then you have a good shot in court! I'd highly recommend him and if I need to get another attorney again I will always go with him.

I hired George as a out of town client. My case was 1 felony charge and 1 misdemeanor charge. It took a year, but it finally came down to my last pre trial conference date. The only time this attorney ever called me to discuss my case was the evening before each court appearance while I was traveling... to Marquette County. The prosecutor sent a list of witnesses to me via U.S. mail. EVERY TIME I spoke with Mr. Hyde throughout the year leading up to my last pre trial hearing, we discussed the names on my defense witness list. 30 minutes before my hearing was to commence, Mr. Hyde informed me of his desire to take the original plea deal the prosecutor offered 12 months prior. This attorney NEVER called, talked to, or conversed in ANY WAY with ANYONE on my list of witnesses, which I made sure he had names and contact numbers of, as well as email addresses for. This attorney knew all along he was going to talk me into the plea deal. This is NOT what any other quality legal counsel would consider appropriate defense strategy, as confirmed by 3 other attorneys I've spoken with about my experience with Mr. Hyde and my case. It is because of this terrible experience I give a very low rating to this attorney. If the scale allowed a "0" rating, that's exactly what he would have received from me, but the scale only goes down to a "1". Trust me, choose a different attorney.

George took my case mid way through of the court process. He admitted it was a hard case and didn't make any promises. But his honestly is what made me believe that I was making the right decision by hiring him. All of the attorneys promised the moon and stars if I gave them their crazy retainer fees.... George may not be the best at communication, but in the end it doesn't matter as long as he is doing his job and he really did above and beyond what we expected. This guy can get things done. After his handling of my case, I would trust him with any type of case, hands down. If you want an excellent lawyer, George is the guy you want to hire.

I hired George Hyde for my divorce in which he did a good job. Now 13 years later when I go to file my paperwork to the United States Government for my ex husbands pension. I find out he died not file the quadro paperwork that he was supposed to. I have contacted his office over a dozen times and ema...iled his office and still to this day I have had no call or email back. I have now had to hire another lawyer to do the paperwork I paid George Hyde to do in the beginning.
