I hired Jeanne to help with my contested divorce. She made a good first impression, but soon dropped the ball. She didn't respond to my emails, or phone calls, forgot important court deadlines, and basically ignored most of what I told her. I had payed her a retainer up front, so I was stuck trying to get her to pay some attention to my case. I never received a statement of charges or a refund.
I finally had to hire a new law firm, they did a wonderful job, kept me in the loop, and brought my case to a successful end. I'm so glad I switched to Sean at Michigan legal group. Wish I would have hired them from the start and saved myself a lot of headaches!

I had a very high conflict divorce, complete with a custody trial. Jeanne Hannah has a wealth of knowledge. She has impressed me not only with her skills, but how she treats her clients and truly listens to them. She went above and beyond what I expected. She explained everything in detail and with confidence and on a level I could understand. She was always quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had, and was very compassionate and understanding and helped alleviate any fears I had though the most stressful time in my life. But do not mistake her level of compassion for weakness, she also is aggressive and goes after what is fair. I ended up having to go to trial, and seeing her in action was a great experience. With her confidence and her well thought out plan, she was able to secure my children a very workable parenting plan that helped further define the "standard" plan used by most courts. I could not have trusted any other lawyer to accomplish what she did for me and my children!

I didn't have a good experience with this law firm. I had given Mrs. Hannah a retainer to have some legal work done but it turned out that I didn't need the work done last minute (hey things happen). It took almost two months to get my money back and she didn't actually bill me for any work at all. I almost thought I was going to have to take a lawyer to court to get a refund. Her assistant is extremely slow also. She never returned any of my emails or did not keep me in the loop at all about the status of my refund. I got the same unacceptable answer for weeks in a row. Sorry, but this is completely unacceptable service.
Lisa Hopkins, Child custody Attorney
Relationship: Worked together on matter
I endorse this lawyer as an extremely competent, experienced, and compassionate attorney. Her knowledge and skill in child custody and child abductions cases are exceptional; great attorney with whom to work or hire.
