Attorney Keibler is a very poor Family Law attorney. Not only did he not even remember my sons name half the time, he was completely unprepared for trial. He failed to even read the FOC review and ended up costing me any type of custody in my sons case. I got a phone call literally on my way to th...e court house and he told me that he didn’t “notice” something mentioned in the review and how he thought he might lose the case. In addition to being unprepared, he was a terrible advisor of law. As someone who has never had any experience with family law, I expected to be coached on the best way to proceed with my custody case and all the things I could have done to strengthen my position. I changed lawyers after the trial and my lawyer now has proceeded the point out all the ways that he misrepresented me and cost me precious time with my son. Now that it is over and I have a much better attorney, I realized how much he truly did not care about me or my son. I hope this review helps someone else. Please do not use James for any type of Family Law.

I hired him to take care of my divorce. At first everything was fine but then......He would never return my calls answer emails etc. I had a court date that I found out about a week after it happened which he didn't even show up. All he said was "it was Adjourned " I asked him for copies of the paper...work he had filed and returned with I need a letter stating you do not want me as your lawyer. The paperwork he filed was wrong so the judge threw it out, I sent him paperwork he needed has yet to return it. He failed to inform me of court dates that and he assured me he was keeping track of my case. This last one he showed up and told the judge that he had no communication with me and he wanted to be removed from the case. I don't know why he decided to not care about my case like others on here but it disappointing since I live out of state I trusted this guy to take care of my divorce which involves a child.

Jim handled my case as professionally as possilbe. My ex had started the case by getting some orders without my knowledge and before the end of the following week they had been removed. I have used many attorneys and none of them kept me as informed as Jim did throughout the process. Thank You Mr. Ki...ebel
