Almir Hot

Almir Hot is the founder and managing attorney of the firm. Prior to founding Hot Law, P.C., which is located in Manhattan, New York, attorney Almir Hot was an associate for several prestigious New York City law firms and prosecutors offices where he practiced in the areas of criminal defense, immigration law, and civil litigation and gained meaningful experience inside and outside of the courtroom. 

Mr. Hot has extensive experience and knowledge regarding complex immigration matters, criminal defense, as well as Civil and Supreme Court litigation. He has represented clients with a variety of legal matters in Civil and Supreme Courts all throughout the tri-state area. In addition, Almir Hot is often seen zealously representing his clients in Immigration Courts in the Greater New York area and the surrounding states. 

Almir Hot is a highly motivated attorney with excellent leadership skills. He is capable of working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to complete all work in a timely fashion. As a self-motivated, efficient, reliable, and exceptional communicator, Almir Hot, has the ability to provide zealous representation for all his clients. 

Attorney Hot is a member of New York City Bar Association (NYCBA), New York State Bar Association (NYSBA), and American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). 

Mr. Hot plans to begin writing posts biweekly for a Former-Yugoslavian website, , where he will discuss legal topics relevant to the Former-Yugoslavian immigrant population throughout New York and New Jersey. He is fluent in English, Bosnian, Serbian, Montenegrin, and Croatian. 

Attorney Almir Hot was admitted to the New York and New Jersey State Bars in 2012. He received his B.A. in Government, English, and History from John Jay College of Criminal Justice, City University of New York. He received his J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2011.
