High recommend. Very dedicated.

Phil worked very hard on my case. You can call him a " One Man Army". He was also very understanding to the needs of a client with a child. While we met he gave my child snacks and treated us both with sencitivity and respect. He definitely rose to the occasion gracefully. Thank you Phil.

Great attorney.

Phil Curtis is a great criminal defense attorney. He really cares about his clients. He got my charges dismissed and worked tirelessly to do so. Highly recommend.

Highly recommended for immigration advice

Phil was successful in securing a visa for my wife who came to the US on a fiance visa last year. Phil kept us informed during a long process which made the waiting worth it. It would've been impossible without his advice.

Permanent Resident Card Renewal

I met with Mr. Curtis when I was at the shelter for women for domestic violence and had a very complicated situation with my paper work. Mr. Curtis not only worked with me but made sure it was all taken care off in a timely manner. Many years later I needed to renew my permanent resident card and I c...ontacted him and he helped me out with it and got that taken care off. I really thank God for capable and efficient people like Mr. Philip Curtis who genuinely take care of the case they are working on and dealing with it. Thank you Mr. Curtis! The best immigration lawyer to contact.

K-1 Visa from Mexico

I worked with Phil for my fiance's K-1 visa after it had been deferred for a year. I used a different lawyer for the first time and they had not prepared us well for the process. I used Phil's services when I was looking for someone who could help us through a very difficult type of denial/deferral f...or a K-1 visa from Mexico. I saw an article on his website in regards to the issue in my case and he was extremely knowledgeable about the process and agreed to take on my case. He spent a great amount of time helping my fiance and I work through the denial/deferral by creating a plan of action that we would follow over the 12 month period. He went above and beyond, in my opinion, making sure that we had more than enough information to bring with us to the consulate for the next interview and we got approved! I was very satisfied with his services and I believe he truly cares about his clients and understands the frustrations that a long immigration process can bring. I never met him in person and I don't think that was a problem in working together. I would definately recommend Phil to anyone needing assistance with immigration. He is knowledgeable, caring, intelligent, honest, and experienced.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"I have known Phil Curtis since law school and have grown to value and respect the professional he has become, applying both a strong grasp of the law and a practical, commons-sense straightforwardness often lacking in the legal profession. Phil has chosen to focus his strong skill set on helping families and workers live and work in the United States. He is an excellent immigration law attorney and the consummate professional attorney that I highly recommend and endorse."

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
