Philip C. Curtis

Philip C. Curtis is a solo-practicioner who has been in private practice since 2002.  He is a graduate of the University of California - Berkeley Law School and a member of the State Bar of Michigan.  His practice is focused entirely on criminal defense and immigration law.  

Mr. Curtis represents individuals who are charged with crimes or who may be charged with crimes in the counties of Jackson, Hillsdale, Lenawee, Calhoun and Washtenaw Counties.  He handles all variety of felony and misdemeanor matters including but not limited to: all drug offenses, drunk or drugged driving, gun charges, domestic violence, assaultive crimes (felonious assualt, attempted murder, etc.) and theft crimes from petty larceny to armed robbery.

Mr. Curtis also represents American citizens, corporations and foreign nationals in a variety of U.S. immigration law matters.  He specializes in family-based immigrant visa cases, K1 fiance visas, adjustment of status and other family immigration cases including complex family-based cases which involve waivers of inadmissibility.  Mr. Curtis also represents clients in certain non-immigrant employment-based cases such as H1B, TN and O1 visas.

Mr. Curtis charges reasonable flat fees for all his services and is dedicated to providing excellent representation through vigorous advocacy and client communication.
