Joshua Marlin Covert

In my personal experience with Joshua Covert as my Attorney he was very professional, extremely knowledgeable, easily accessable for anything I needed, always on time, and very willing to stand up for my best interest always. He is the best Attorney I have ever had and I would highly recommend having... him as an Attorney to anyone I know who needs legal help! I was facing 3 felony charges and 2 misdomeanor charges that were all dismissed! Without his legal help there is no doubt in my mind I would have been falsely convicted and would be in jail at this current time. Simply put in my opinion he is the best Attorney I have ever encountered!!!!

He kept me informed with everything that was going on through the whole process and met with me to answer or discuss any questions or concerns that I had in a very prompt manner. I was arrested in February 2013 on a super drunk driving charge. Following my release from jail, I sought consult with other attorneys in the Lansing area. As I was given absolutely nothing from the police or jail (no ticket or any sort of paper work), the general consensus seemed to be that the cour...ts would inform me via mail about an arraignment and other legal obligations. I heard nothing for 2 months until I was called by a police detective to inform me that a warrant for my arrest had been put out. After getting that news, I contacted the Nichols Law firm whom I had discovered through the Internet but had not spoken with yet. I was put into contact with Josh within the hour. Josh immediately started helping me before I even hired him. He called the police to find out everything that was involved and promptly called me back and explained the entire situation and even offered advice about the best way to handle the situation. He then invited me to his office for a consultation and I agreed to hire him that day. Josh was extremely supportive and knowledge about the DUI/OWI process during my experience with him. He kept me updated on everything and always immediately informed me if any new or pertinent information about my case had come up and was always willing to discuss anything that was worrying me. I was initially charged with an OWI enhanced (super drunk) but with Josh's representation the charge was reduced to a regular OWI (DUI). And with Josh as my attorney, I was able to avoid all court imposed punishment besides a fine. NO probation. NO community service. Josh is a great lawyer and has become a great friend. I would STRONGLY recommend him to anyone that has to go through the stress and ordeal of a drunk driving case. He will make everything so much easier for you.
