Seth Michael Bierlein

I grew up in a farming family in the tri-city area, and I'm grateful to continue to serve the mid-michigan communities where I grew up.  My passion for being a voice for those who don't have one started back on the school playground and continues to this day.  Today my practice focuses on criminal defense, alcohol/drug related driving offenses, michigan medical marijuana law, family law, and estate planning.   

Prior to moving back home to Bay City, I worked in Lansing for the Michigan State Senate where I helped state senators craft and develop legislation on a variety issues ranging from agriculture to criminal justice reform.  My time with the Senate was very interesting, but I soon realized that helping clients indvidually in private practice was what I was meant to do. 

Following my time with the Senate I worked with the Nichols Law Firm in East Lansing, where I helped to build criminal defense cases.  This was a great opportunity for me for me to work with excellent attorneys.  The Nichols Law Firm stays on the cutting edge of not only where the law is, but also weaknesses in the underlying science of evidence used in criminal defense cases.  

Seth is a member of the Criminal Defense Attorneys of Michigan, Michigan Association of OWI Attorneys, and the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws.
