Biography
Bill Livingston is a third-generation lawyer born and raised in Livingston County. He studied Criminal Justice at Michigan State University and following his graduation, immediately pursued his Juris Doctor, being sworn-in to practice law in the State of Michigan in 2014.
With a decade of experience in criminal defense, he understands how a criminal charge can alter a person’s life. Bill has handled hundreds of criminal cases involving charges ranging from misdemeanor Drunk Driving and Domestic Violence to life offenses such as Carjacking, Criminal Sexual Conduct and Homicide.
As the former President of the Livingston County Bar Association, and having practiced locally for most of his career, Bill knows all the players well from judges to prosecutors. He is just as comfortable trying a case inside of a courtroom as he is negotiating outside of one.
Outside of criminal defense, Bill is also experienced in several other types of law including license restoration, juvenile cases, expungements and more.
Bill knows that encountering the legal system is often one of the most stressful experiences in a person’s life, and he strives to assist his clients in moving through the system with ease and understanding.
