Torree Breen did an excellent job helping me plan my estate. She was able to answer all my questions. I received copies of my documents in a very timely manner. She reviewed them with me and was very thorough with explaining every last detail of the documents. I would use her again and would highly recommend her for all you estate planning needs.
I have sent Torree many clients who are going through Divorce, Estate Planning issues, or other related legal matters, as well as used her personally. She handles everyone with the utmost professionalism and I have never received anything but excellent feedback. The thing that impresses me the most is her thorough process of information gathering. She is able to quickly and efficiently sort through her client's information to create a plan of action. I have worked with many lawyers who drag that process out, it can be a burden not only on your stress levels but your wallet as well. Torree is the opposite of those lawyers. I also can't say enough positive things about her associate Laura. Together they make it easy to communicate and organize my legal documents. I would highly recommend her and her team.

Torree is an Excellent Attorney
I have retained Torree to assist me a couple of times in regard to child custody, child support and other matters after my divorce. She is always available to discuss my problems and is very knowledgeable about Michigan law. Torree has always provided good legal advice to me so that I can ensure that my children always have what is in their best interest. Matters regarding my children are sometimes emotional to me and she was very sympathetic to my concerns. I would recommend her to anyone that is in need of a great litigation attorney.

Torree is amazing
Torree was amazing. She really helped me to talk about everything I needed to cover while meeting with friend of the court during my custody case for my son. Torree was able to answer everyone of my questions regarding the matter as well as suggestions about how to go about different situations. Her office staff and her were very good about keeping me informed and sending me any necessary copies of documents. I highly recommend Torree for anyone needing help in a custody battle. I tend to be meek and back down, but Torree was there to be my backbone. I am very pleased with all she's done for my son and I.

Worst attorney ever
I retained Ms. Breen while I was in the middle of a very difficult child support and custody case. She took my $5000 retainer, then basically ignored me. She did not return my emails, or phone calls in a timely manner, if she returned them at all. One time she actually answered her phone when I called and honestly sounded like she had no idea who I was.
After telling me she was too busy to attend one of my hearings, and that she was sending an "associate" from the firm whom I had never met, she then rescheduled the hearing without my permission or consent. She then cancelled the rescheduled hearing, again without my permission or consent, and as a result, the proceedings are still dragging on now, after almost a year.
At one point, I told her if she wanted to hand my case over to another attorney in the firm who had more time, she responded (right away, ironically,) by telling me she would not represent me anymore, and that I had to find another firm. This was a few days after my ex husband filed another motion to sue me for something else. I was frightened and very upset, and she totally left me hanging in the wind. She did everything possible to make any already terribly situation much, much worse.
I called several of the partners in her firm to complain, and they ended up giving me my full retainer back and admitting that she dropped the ball. In fact, I just heard recently that her secretary got fired, although, in my opinion, she is so incompetent, she is the one who should be fired.
