Immediately, I saw a huge difference using this attorney over one used a few years back. The first attorney was more of a paper pusher, kinda like being represented by Eyore. When I first met with Susan and in subsequent times....she took the time to hear the "story" and was good with her feedback.... During pre-court meetings with the other party....the bull-dog came out and it became clear that she was not one to mess with. She was also was wise in suggesting a very good mediation solution. Her assistant is very responsive via email. On "Motion Mondays"...the day can really drag out. I didn't realize that she had so many different cases on 1 day...so I was a bit frustrated waiting through the process. But once I understood the flow of the Genesee County Courts...all was fine. With everythig going on...I worried that I would be forgotten. However, she would seek me out at the right time, get updated by me on anything new, and then act with velocity in working it out with the other party. There are still a number of issues we need to work out, most should get addressed when we reconvene and adjust our long-term plan.
