It was my good fortune to find David Sucher who accepted the daunting task of handling my family legal matters. David skillfully navigated through the legal proceedings making the best of a terrible situation. David was referred to me by a friend as someone that could handle my contentious divorce, and thankfully that turned out to be correct. My divorce was high conflict, and dragged on much longer than it should have, but David was there for me every step of the way to handle every single roadblock that... was thrown in our way. He was a wonderful resource for legal advice on how to navigate issues presented along the way, of which there were many. Obviously divorce is never easy, and tensions are high, but David has a way of breaking down issues and being logical that I really appreciated. He was extremely helpful with diffusing tense situations caused by my ex, helping me to leave emotions out of the decisions I was making. He was an advocate for me and my children throughout this process, and I am happily enjoying my regular parenting time with them. Even though my divorce is over, I have had several questions for David and as always he has been approachable, helpful, and prompt with his replies and help. David Sucher was a Godsend during my divorce. All I can say are great things about David. He is ethical, honest, trustworthy and an exceptional attorney. David knows the law and the system well. Divorce was the most traumatic event that I have ever been through, and with David I was able to ...get through it. He was the light that guided me through the dark tunnel. Before I hired David, I had two other attorneys that did not represent me well. The other attorneys over charged me but David was extremely fair and even won some of my attorney fees. David has been my attorney in my divorce case since my initial attorney saddled me with an anchor of a judgment that has hung around my neck since 2012. He was forthright in telling me what it would take to untangle the mess that I was in and put forth a set of steps that it would take to get things... back to a level playing field. He has fulfilled those steps after setting realistic expectations and dealing with a judge that appears biased toward woman and easily swayed by stupidity. David can reign a client in who has "pie in the sky" wants or expectations and has worked hard on my behalf. He knows how the system works and knows the tendencies of most attorneys, judges and referees within the Oakland County system as well. He is an advocate without coming across as an overbearing "shark", which works well within the system. He is known within the area and by those within the FOC system, but not with a reputation that would drive people away before he even shows up for a motion or meeting. David can stick to his position and your needs and fight anybody that he is put across the table from, as long as those requests are reasonable and can actually be achieved. I would recommend David to anyone. I would recommend that you hire him from the starting point of any divorce proceedings, but he is just as good to bring in after things have already begun. He can easily take over for a useless, uncaring or hack lawyer that has not gotten the job done. If you need someone to be the best advocate you can have sitting next to you (and you are not shooting yourself in the foot to hurt your own case) then look him up and hire him as your attorney.

David has turned an absolute nightmare of a fight into a much more tolerable experience. Not only has he fought tirelessly for us, but he is the only reason we have custody of the children. Prior to him we had a horrible lawyer that literally let their mom kidnap the kids. David has gone above and be...yond getting us the kids back, getting custody and has helped us deal with every road block and bump along the way, on top of cleaning up our previous lawyers mess. He has communicated thoroughly with us every step of the way and clearly laid out on the table for us what we should expect at each and every turn this fight has taken. David is beyond excellent, and it is with out a doubt, he is the only reason we not only have the children and our sanity. He even handled her false accusations and intentional road blocks with poise and knowledge. In addition he was smart enough to keep a close track of communication between himself and other lawyers, which helped immensely in court. We can not speak highly enough of David!
