I am an addict in recovery, and was facing some pretty serious charges when Ray was suggested to me. My family and I, sat down with Ray and I told him my story, and he listened. Not only did he just listen, he truly cared, and let me know thing we’re going to be ok. He made sure my parents were both ...ok and let them and I know what was going on consistently. To my surprise someone very kind and thoughtful picked up and walked me through the process of setting up the consultation. I was in the office... two days later talking to Ray about my situation. I hired Ray Cassar to help me petition the Federal Court for early termination of probation. Ray and his associate, Alexandra Giuliani did an excellent job of writing a motion and then following up with my Probation Officer and the Assistant US Attorney. The motion that was submitted was granted by ...the Judge and I received early termination. Ray and Alexandra were both very caring, understanding and professional in their dealings with me. They took whatever time was needed to discuss my case without any interrupting phone calls. They kept me informed of every step along the way. Additionally, a few years ago during the pre-trial phase of my case, I hired Ray to review my case as an additional resource. His analysis and advice was very succinct and to the point. When I met Ray, I had experienced a set back in my recovery and was facing my 3rd probation violation Show Cause hearing. In that I was 14 months into a 2 year probation cycle, there were ZERO non-jail options to propose to the judge in my case. In addition to this dire prognosis, I, hence, he was al...so wrestling against the 93 day jail stint recommendation that my probation officer had callously given the judge. Undaunted, Ray sat me down, listened to and empathized with my situation and set out to tailor make a defense for my case. All said, I am elated to report that Ray was unafraid to lay it all on the line, arguing to the judge with passion and compassion that I deserved this additional chance and to NOT punish me with what would have been, for me, a 93 day jail stay/professional disaster--AND RAY WAS WILDLY SUCCESSFUL! Instead of the max recommended, I received a 5 day over a weekend sentence and was, as a bonus, bestowed a less frequent (read: less expensive) alcohol and drug testing regimen for the rest of my probation! All said, for those with ANY and ALL criminal concerns, run, do not walk, to Attorney Cassar! As I told him personally, he is not only a skilled and trustworthy attorney, but a good human being.

There are not enough words to express our gratitude to Ray. Not only is he a compassionate and understanding person, he is an amazing lawyer. Ray is so knowledgeable in his field, Ray was able to save a young man from going to prison and ultimately save his life. I cannot say enough kind words abou...t Ray.
