I hired Ray for a criminal Federal Drug Case and I was very pleased with how he and Alex handled the matter. I got to know Ray over a long period of time and I couldn’t say anything besides he’s a very honest, caring and very well respected attorney in the court system. Ray did an excellent job of defending my son. I initially met with Ray and his colleague specifically because of their previous work with clients with a mental illness diagnosis. I quickly decided this was a great fit for my son. Ray and his team were always communicative and responsive to our que...stions and concerns. He clearly knew what to present to the judge to help our case. He communicated clearly what we needed to do prior to court, during court, etc, - which was a great stress reliever. He really did get the best possible outcome for my son, exceeding our expectations.

When I met Ray, I had experienced a set back in my recovery and was facing my 3rd probation violation Show Cause hearing. In that I was 14 months into a 2 year probation cycle, there were ZERO non-jail options to propose to the judge in my case. In addition to this dire prognosis, I, hence, he was al...so wrestling against the 93 day jail stint recommendation that my probation officer had callously given the judge. Undaunted, Ray sat me down, listened to and empathized with my situation and set out to tailor make a defense for my case. All said, I am elated to report that Ray was unafraid to lay it all on the line, arguing to the judge with passion and compassion that I deserved this additional chance and to NOT punish me with what would have been, for me, a 93 day jail stay/professional disaster--AND RAY WAS WILDLY SUCCESSFUL! Instead of the max recommended, I received a 5 day over a weekend sentence and was, as a bonus, bestowed a less frequent (read: less expensive) alcohol and drug testing regimen for the rest of my probation! All said, for those with ANY and ALL criminal concerns, run, do not walk, to Attorney Cassar! As I told him personally, he is not only a skilled and trustworthy attorney, but a good human being.

When suddenly I was faced with an order to make an appearance in court for something that I didn't realize would deliver such hard consequences with possible jail time, I reached out and I was referred to Mr. Cassar. I was told initially that I shouldn't have anything to worry about. This misdemeanor... charge though kept me from peace as it blindsided me so. Through it all his confidence never waned and he was able to make last minute actions to settle everything with only one trip to court. I am truly grateful that he was able to seize control of my ship's rutter to navigate me away from the storm and restore order.

My grandfather who is a former patent attorney, recommended Raymond Cassar to me after doing some research. Ray and his team were excellent and I am truly grateful for all of his hard work and believing in me. Ray was never misleading and very supportive and compassionate. He was able to arrange my a...rraignment and pretrial all in one day, and got my assault and battery case dismissed, which was really all a big misunderstanding but could have ended badly for me without his excellent representation.
