Even though I was already divorced, some aspects of my divorce were not completely settled, landing me in what a few lawyers referred to as ‘a legal mess.’ While the attorney I used for my divorce was competent and easy to work with, I didn’t feel that he possessed the finesse, tenacity, or willin...gness to fight for me that I needed for my situation, so I had to look for somebody who did. I needed somebody who was willing to deal with a mess. That’s what led me to Greg Klich. After reading a few reviews, I gave Greg a call, and he, himself, answered right away; that meant quite a bit to me after a long afternoon of interviewing lawyers…I was getting pretty tired of having to explain myself, first, to a secretary, then, once again, to a lawyer. And that small action foreshadowed Greg’s dedication and attentiveness to the people with whom he’s working. When I spoke to him, I found him to be very personable and engaging, yet extremely authentic, and that’s important to me when hiring a lawyer because I need to feel comfortable with, and enjoy speaking to, anybody I hire to represent me. He came off as knowledgeable, but with teeth; somebody who wouldn’t shy away from a fight or a mess. He struck me as the type to relish the opportunity to puzzle his way out of a challenge, and that was precisely what I needed. And, as shallow on my part as it may be, the fact that he’s from a town bordering my home city of New York, speaks in a Manhattan accent, and just has that je ne sais quoi that the people from back home have, definitely tipped the scales in his direction for me. I quickly learned that Greg doesn’t deal out false hope or empty promises; he explains in no uncertain terms where the law doesn’t favor you, tampers your expectations, then fights for you like those deficits don’t exist. He strategizes with and includes you, instead of keeping you in the dark while strong arming the situation against your wishes and explaining himself later, like some lawyers have the tendency to do. He doesn’t start interactions with opposing counsel by charging at them in a contentious, vicious manner; he tries to work with the people involved in your situation, all while maintaining zealous advocacy for you. And you realize just how important that is when you see how much your judge likes him. If you need him, he is there immediately; he makes himself available to you through all different forms of communication (text, email, phone), never makes you feel like a bother, and always treats and speaks to you like a human being. The other lawyer, even though he didn’t know me or anything about me at all, kept making derogatory comments and personal insults toward me in emails, and Greg would cheer me up about it. I never once felt like a cash cow or an annoyance, and his manner of speaking is just so genuine and straight forward. If you’re wondering about cost: I found his retainer and rate to be extremely reasonable and competitive. The price was neither undercutting to the work he does, nor was it exploitative for me; very, very fair. All in all, after working with this man for almost eleven months, I can’t recommend Greg enough. My situation, as aggravating as it has been, has turned out much better than the court order we had to work with would suggest it would, and I feel like I’m getting as fair an outcome as I could get, and I know it’s because of the way Greg handled it, and all of the carefully crafted strategies and decisions he made along the way. My financial future was riding on the outcome of this situation, and he came through for me, completely. To Greg, personally: Thank you for all of your hard work, for putting up with me, and for being the fighter I needed in one of the scariest situations I’ve ever been through.

Greg was absolutely amazing to work with. He was always available via phone or text whenever I had any questions about the legal process, filling out documents, etc. He was very upfront about how the system works and what to expect next. I was very lucky to have such a great attorney during such a... difficult time.

Greg was instrumental in getting me through my final 4 years of paying child support. He was very detailed in that through his discovery he was able to find fault whereby the Custodial Parent ( my children’s mother) was reporting her monthly income amounts to be significantly lower than what they act...ually were. I have had joint legal custody of my children since 2005 and this was my final year and thanks to Greg the last 4 years was fair and just and I would recommend him to anybody that feels taken advantage of. Thanks Greg. I paid the FOC 22 years and of those year Greg made it make sense and I feel I had a voice that not only spoke from his expertise, but a father that understands the struggles of a single Dad
