Dana M. Constand

I talked to her and hired her for a child custody issue but I believe she cared less to do her job and truly protect myself as a father. She was saying that it is the best she can do. After all was done and said I believe she was bias with the mother and against me... even thou she was my attorney,... and she was paid well. Be aware!

Hired her for a child support issue. We talked and she told me how she sees my situation (not an easy one), I shared with her my plan and what I want to accomplish, and she told me that she would try to accomplish most of it. She said that she has the experience and that it will not be easy but she... can try to deliver (she also shared some of her plan to accomplish those things). Once hired her efforts were late and minimal, in the end, I had to settle because almost nothing of what she initially agreed on was done (but she did one decent discovery/motion). She helped me with the calculation but not to my benefit either and overall it is my opinion that she did not have my best interest in mind but she billed me excessively. The bills were not detailed and according to my calculations, she spent more time on the phone with the opposing counselor than with me.... Overall I do not recommend her at all!

We were referred to Dana when seeking guardianship of our grandson. She listened patiently to our story, and was very responsive throughout the process. We appreciated her thoroughness in explaining the various steps involved in guardianship, and her empathy in answering not only our questions but ...our daughter's questions as well. At the actual guardianship hearing, Dana was very professional and helped put us at ease. We would highly recommend Dana for family legal matters.

I am forever grateful for the help I received from Ms. Constand during my divorce. It was not an easy divorce, but she helped me to make decisions that looked at the future for my children and myself. She has continued to lend helpful advice through the years and most of all helped me bring a long pe...riod of my life to a close with the ability to start new. She provided all the support I needed during court appearances, on time and always prepared. Thank you for everything Ms. Constand!
