Biography
I have been in private practice since 2009 focusing in the areas of divorce, custody, parenting time, child support, adoption and property division. I am court-appointed as a guardian ad litem in guardianship, conservatorship and in difficult divorce matters. I also represent clients in misdemeanor and felony matters in all local district and circuit courts. Prior to private practice, I clerked for the Honorable Joan E. Young at Oakland County Circuit Court.
In 2000, I earned my Masters degree in Guidance and Counseling with an emphasis in mental health and sexual abuse treatment. I worked with sexual abused adults and children for nearly 10 years prior to completing my law degree.
In my spare time I like to play softball, golf, travel and watch the Tigers and/or Red Wings play. I also volunteer at Capuchin Soup Kitchen, Kid Equip, CARE House of Oakland County and HAVEN.
