Amy Beth Byer

Amy Byer is a great no-nonsense lawyer to have on your side in a family law dispute. I hired Amy while going through a divorce a few years ago, and have continued to consult her since then as issues of parenting time come up. I always appreciated that Amy was honest and straightforward with me ab...out my chances of winning any particular judgement, and how hard she fought to get me the time with my child I felt I deserved. On top of that she is very friendly and personable, couldn't ask for a better lawyer.

Amy came highly recommended to me and after working with her the past 4 or 5 months, I can see why. She is excellent. She knows the law, lawyers, and judges in Oakland County. She is extremely kind and supportive, but will not hesitate to get tough when the time calls for it. She was able to empathize with my feelings and understand why certain things/moments were so important to me so that she could get me the best possible outcome. Divorce can be very scary when you don't know "the system" or what will happen but due to Amy's continual support, thorough knowledge, and patient explaining I only had minor moments of worry that were very easily abated once we talked. I highly recommend Amy to anyone in need of a smart, tough, but truly wonderful lawyer.
