Patient and Caring Attorney

Amy Byer was recommended to me by a friend. Divorce is a stressful experience at best. Amy was patient and caring as I navigated through my divorce. I have recommended her to a family member and would not hesitate to recommend her again.

Great to work with Amy

Amy's expertise and skills are undeniable. She helped us navigate a collaborative divorce, and I highly recommend this collaborative method, and working with Amy. It was a constructive experience in a difficult time. The legal process was quick and relatively low-cost, Amy walked us through it with p...rofessionalism and kindness.

Knowledgeable and Friendly

Amy came highly recommended to me and after working with her the past 4 or 5 months, I can see why. She is excellent. She knows the law, lawyers, and judges in Oakland County. She is extremely kind and supportive, but will not hesitate to get tough when the time calls for it. I had a very difficu...lt divorce (not that any are easy) and through out she was patient, supportive, and knowledgeable. She was able to empathize with my feelings and understand why certain things/moments were so important to me so that she could get me the best possible outcome. Divorce can be very scary when you don't know "the system" or what will happen but due to Amy's continual support, thorough knowledge, and patient explaining I only had minor moments of worry that were very easily abated once we talked. I highly recommend Amy to anyone in need of a smart, tough, but truly wonderful lawyer.

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
