Robert De'Angelo Burton-Harris

I’m sharing my personal experience with Attorney Robert Burton Harris of Burton Harris Law PLC so that others can make informed choices before retaining him. I hired Mr. Harris for a vehicle matter, but he never met with me in person despite multiple scheduled appointments, which he admitted to in te...xt messages. Communication was inconsistent and several of his later emails contained statements that did not match our prior conversations or written exchanges. I have documentation showing these contradictions. I also felt uncomfortable as a female client when he implied I had sent him a picture of myself, which is untrue, and based on his own comments, it appeared he looked me up online instead of maintaining professional boundaries. When I began asking legitimate questions and requested proof of the work performed, he abruptly ended our relationship and sent a misleading termination message that conflicted with earlier communications. In my opinion, supported by our written correspondence and my grievance filing, this attorney showed poor professionalism and failed to handle my case ethically. I urge others, especially women, to proceed with caution, keep written records, and verify everything directly with the court or agencies involved.
