Daimeon Montrez Cotton

I always ask myself: How can I help people solve problems or achieve success?   I’m constantly searching for ways to add value to those I serve. I’ve always been like that. It's why I became an attorney and dispute resolution professional. 

My experience spans areas of business litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). I recently practiced at a reputable business law firm where we helped several clients avoid liability (saving thousands of dollars) and assisted others in collecting thousands of dollars. Moreover, as a mediator, I’ve facilitated resolutions between disputants involving general civil matters. 

I am also very committed to community service. I actively serve on the Boards of non-profit organizations providing awesome services. I knew service and leadership was my calling early on.  For instance, I received Kentucky’s highest non-military service award (Kentucky Colonel Award) in May 2007 for my work as Executive Vice President of the Student Government Association at Morehead State University. More recently, in 2012, I received a Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Service and Dedication as Part of Michigan Community Resources’ Nuisance Abatement Team.
