I am a lifelong resident of Michigan, dedicated to serving the people of this state. After graduating from Albion College with a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology, I earned my Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University College of Law and was admitted to the bar in 2012. Since then my practice experience has been in the areas of estate planning, family and juvenile law, criminal defense, landlord/tenant law and auto repossession. I now focus on representing clients in family law matters such as divorce and separation, child custody and parenting time, child support and spousal support.

Like that he went over all aspects and that he took his time and didn’t rush through all the questions. Seemed very concerned with what was going on and made you feel comfortable.

I worked with Greg on a case and was surprised that, despite his experience as a lawyer, he overlooked some critical legal procedures. This raised concerns about his professionalism.

Greg guided me through some commercial landlord/tenant lease issues and was immediately responsive when things hit the fan. He told me exactly how to handle it and what to do. He called me immediately after coming out of a court case after I called the office in the midst of what could've quickly bec...

Mr. Calabrese was my attorney during my divorce case. His focus on my child custody was critical and well received. He also added something not usually associated with lawyers - ethics (haha). While I was under probably the most stress of my life, it was awesome to have someone that was willing to po...

Mr. Calabrese doesn’t return calls or emails in a timely matter. You must call repeatedly to get a response and often you get excuses for the delays (or sometimes no response for extended periods of time). A quick reply to an email letting a client know that they haven’t been forgotten and maybe sch...
I am truly sorry that this client feels this way. I try my absolute best to be as responsive as possible to all forms of communications. Sometimes my schedule does not allow me to respond the same day, but I almost always respond as timely as possible. I am not sure which client this is, but I'd be happy to address any issues or perceived shortcomings directly with any client. Almost all of my clients, as evidenced by their reviews pertaining to communication in other forums, feel completely the opposite of this client.
"Greg Calabrese knows his stuff. He's got an innate ability to see the problem from many different perspectives which is invaluable in planning strategies for his clients. He's meticulous and thoughtful on all aspects of the case and works hard to respond quickly to all his clients' concerns. He's the guy you want on your side in any case, but especially in a divorce case."
"There are few cases like family law cases. Many attorneys that I know in the community run and hide from them. Not Greg. Greg represents each and every one of his clients not only aggressively and painstakingly, but also compassionately. Family law cases are, without a doubt, some of the hardest to handle, and Greg is an attorney whom you can truly put your trust in. My recommendation for Greg arises not only out of his skill as an attorney, but out of his quality as a human being. If you have a family law matter, you'd be doing yourself a major disservice by not at least calling Greg Calabrese before you decide who will carry you through the battle..."
