Dan Geherin

Dan reprsented my son in a possession case in Ann Arbor (UofM property). Dan not only was very knowledgeable of all relevant law and court procedures, but he cared about our case, and worked more time to implement defense strategies that succeeded in achieving an outcome that was better than expected.... I would recommend Dan to anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation.

Extremely Professional

Dan Geherin and his team were incredible every step of the way throughout a long and drawn out OWI and Implied Consent Refusal process for me over the last six months. Dan was able to help me obtain a restricted license and negotiate a very high-BAC charge down to a standard OWI with a very lenient ...sentence. Dan personally responded to my initial email inquiry within 30 minutes on a Sunday and his quick response continued throughout the entirety of my six month saga. Whether it was answering a question about an upcoming hearing, clarifying points around our defense strategy, or just listening to me complain about the slow process—Dan was always understanding, clear, and professional in every way. Successful Driver's License Restoration

Mr. Geherin is a very good Attorney. Mr. Geherin successfully helped me to not only address an Ignition Interlock Violation but also to restore my Driver's License. In addition to successful results, the client service provided by Mr. Geherin and his staff throughout the process was stellar. OWI Defense of Daniel Geherin

Attorney Daniel Geherin was referred to me by an associate to defend me in an OWI (Operating While intoxicated) case brought by the 16th District Court. I had never been in this situation before and had never been arrested. In my dealings with Mr Geherin, whom I engaged for my defense, I found him ...to be professional, direct and experienced in such cases. With the OWI, whereby I blew 0.17 (considered super-drunk), I was faced with possible jail time and the loss of my license. Mr. Geherin reviewed the officer's police report and video cam of the incident, consulted with me on my options, and advised me on what I could expect. With his experience, he was familiar with the judge (McCann) that I was to appear before, and advised as to how I should handle myself in court. He met with the prosecutor and was able to get the recommended charge reduced two levels to restricted driving for 90 days, with fours days of a work program and 16 hours of community service, along with systematic alcohol testing and drug testing for 90 days. Although the price to retain Mr. Geherin's service was not inexpensive, it was a wise move to have him in the court room representing me. I do not believe I would have realized the reduced sentence that I did had I not hired him. The prosecutor was aiming for a suspended license for 30 days, which would have made it difficult, or at least expensive, for me to commute to and from work for that period. I highly recommend Mr. Geherin in the area of DWI/OWI cases due to the experience he has in this area.
